Terms and Conditions


Allergens:


Food allergies and intolerances: please speak to us if you have any concerns about the ingredients in your food. Gluten, eggs and milk are often used in our cooking.

We do not use nuts unless stated. However they are sometimes present in the kitchen.

We are very happy to cater for specific dietary requirements if told in advance. Many thanks.



Bookings, payments and cancellations:


Tots Teas require a £20 deposit for orders under £100 and a £50 deposit for orders over £100. This can be paid via bank transfer, cash or cheque. Please be aware that your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The deposit is fully refundable when given 28 days or more notice of cancellation, after this point the deposit is non refundable.


The following information is required at the time of booking whenever possible: Date of party, time of party, venue address including postcode, time you have access to the venue or time you require food delivered, an approximate number of children to be catered for.


Final numbers and menu choice are required no later than 7 days prior to the party. If any changes to numbers and/or menu are requested after this point, Tots Teas reserves the right to decline these changes or make an extra charge for alterations. We will always try our best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee they will be possible.


Payment is required the day before the party if paying via bank transfer. We will also accept payment by cheque or cash on delivery. The deposit paid at time of booking will be deducted from your balance.



Weather:


In the event of severe weather conditions such as flooding or snow, Tots Teas will make every effort possible to deliver the food safely at the time agreed. If it is deemed unsafe to make the delivery we will contact you as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements (such as a later delivery time or customer collection.)


In the event of Tots Teas not being able to deliver the food due to severe weather conditions but the party going ahead, the customer will be asked to collect the food. Only if this is not possible due to weather will a full refund be offered.


If the customer decides to cancel the party themselves because of poor weather but Tots Teas deems it safe to deliver the food, delivery will still take place and full payment will be required.


In the event of both customer and Tots Teas agreeing that conditions are too bad for the party to go ahead and the food to be delivered, a 50% refund will be given. If the party is re booked for a later date a 20% discount will be given on food.
